Based on an original webnovel and webtoon of the same name, “Business Proposal” features colourful characters, each with their own unique fashion statements. Ahn HyoSeop plays the uptight workaholic Kang TaeMu, Kim SeJeong plays the loveable and independent Shin HaRi, Kim MinGue plays the straightforward and observant Cha SungHoon, and Seorina plays the determined and honest Jin YoungSeo. Each character’s quirks can very well be seen in their choice of clothing.
1. Kang TaeMu
So far in the drama, Kang TaeMu is rarely seen wearing anything other than suits, turtle necks or crisp shirts. This shows his inability to open up and let loose. He’s very particular about how he presents himself to others, almost to the point of creating a facade. However, despite his need to control his appearance, he does experiment with patterns like stripes and animal prints.
2. Shin HaRi / Shin GeumHui
Shin HaRi’s sense of style is diametrically opposed to that of her alter-ego, Shin GeumHui. While HaRi dresses more like the girl-next-door, GeumHui is influenced by flamboyant, extravagant colours and shapes, to live up to her fake reality. HaRi wears minimal makeup, contrary to GeumHui’s bold looks. However, sometimes, like in the instance of TaeMu and GeumHi’s “1-year anniversary” date, their styles overlap to create a wonderful mix.
3. Cha SungHoon
While it is rather difficult to differentiate between SungHoon and TaeMu when it comes to fashion (mostly because they are so compatible in terms of personality), SungHoon does have a more relaxed style, even if he is also wearing suits for the majority of the time we see him on screen. During scenes where SungHoon is working out or at home, he dresses in a warm and cozy manner.
4. Jin YoungSeo
YoungSeo’s style is elegant, sophisticated, and expensive. She keeps it simple yet beautiful and always impressive. Her fashion has all the charms of a precise professional as well as the flair of a doe-eyed woman who just wants to find true love. Jin YoungSeo doesn’t shy away from colours but monochrome is her jam.
