Are you a new NCTzen who is confused about all the hints and little details that are associated with this comeback? Sit back and allow us to introduce you to all the characters of this narrative. The world of “Sticker” is set in NCIT or Neo Culture Institue of Technology. All the members of NCT 127 are students in this University. So far, we know that Mark is an engineering student, Yuta studies computer science and engineering and DoYoung studies information security.
Classes at this university are a mix of actual academic material that is taught at any regular institution of technology and SMCU related theories, taught by fictional teachers who might just be avatars of the members themselves. Courses include Stick Programming taught by John Jun Suh, Theory of Harmony Between Two Worlds taught by Jay Jeong, Introduction to Programming taught by Kim DongYoung, The Theory of KWANGYA Studies taught by Lee DongHyuck, Understanding SMCU taught by Lee MinHyung, Understanding Media taught by Suh YoungHo and Geolinguistics taught by Kim JungWoo.
The NCIT students are normal college-going kids by day and super-secret coders by night. They are all part of NCDC, the NCIT Coding Crew. Their change of apparent personality becomes clear as this transition is shown in their “Who is STICKER” video.
Their latest in-house sitcom, titled “NCIT HOUSE: Our sharehouse with full of joy and love” shows the members sharing a house as university students. We get to see who is roommates with who and how they get along with each other. There were a number of hints and supposed easter eggs throughout the video that directed viewers’ attention to the alternate universe or “KWANGYA” and “STICKER”. So far, there have been no spoilers or information about what or who “STICK” or “STICKER” is. However, we have reason to believe that it might be an acronym. As such, it probably stands for something greater than what it seems on the surface. There are also quite a few fan theories floating around that suggest that the name of their title track for this album could be “지구 말로는 그거 L.O.V.E” or, “The Earth Says It’s L.O.V.E”. “Earth Says” directly refers to one of their courses, Geolinguistics. This information, however, is not based on pure speculation. Previously, one of their V-Live broadcasts was titled “The Earth Says It’s S.P.O.I.L.E.R.1.2.7”! The ideas of “alien” and “ground/grass” also seem to be important here. What do you think “STICKER” is? Share your theories with Kpopmap in the comments section down below!
