Would you believe it if we told you that most of the outfits from Red Velvet’s music video for ‘Queendom’ were upcycled? For readers who might not be aware of the term, “upcycling” refers to the process of reusing old material and making something entirely new and of higher quality from the same.  The skirt Irene is wearing in the above screen capture is an upcycled denim skirt made from old jeans. YeRi is wearing a denim upcycled bustier paired with a zigzag denim upcycled patchwork skirt. Joy’s outfit is a custom “Andy’s Neighborhood” ribbon dress made from deadstock fabric.  The designer for all these outfits is a brand called “POPSIZ” with the tagline, “Wear Clothes That Matter”.
