Honestly you were worried when V told you that he wanted to try braiding your hair. He assured you that he had been watching tutorials online and felt like trying out just for you. Seeing how sincere he was, you finally agreed and sat in front of him. V combed your hair gently before gathering strands of your hair and started ‘working’ on you. During the entire time, he was very quiet and concentrated in braiding your hair. When you tried to say something, he would hush you straight away telling you that he’s doing something serious.

QUIZZES|Jun 30, 2022 Note- This does not mean I despise Lisa, or can’t stand her, she is a beautiful, talented young lady who has achieved success when some others are in university (she debuted at the age of 19 years old). I am simply not too fond of her as she is racially ignorant (different from being racist, as I am pretty sure she has dealt with racism and xenophobia in the past. Eg.- She got bullied and received a lot of negative comments for being Thai, which is point blank xenophobic, and maybe to extent even racist), has committed cultural appropriation (Eg.- The How You Like That* scandal may have been YG Entertainment’s fault, but some other things may not have been. The box braids she wore in Money: Exclusive Performance Video and the durag in LILI’s FILM #4. Speaking of the How You Like Thatscandal, if we do think it was YG Entertainment’s fault, why couldn’t Lisa have educated the designer of the music video. She is an extremely popular artist and celebrity with a global fan base, so in my opinion, she should be educated. Now, Blinks can be very toxic and, even though I am not a Hindu, the comments which I linked below hurt some very much. Furthermore, if she truly did not know, she would have issued an apology letter. YG Entertainment, and potentially also Lisa, definitely knew of the scandal, as they edited the statue out. In the Kill This Love music video, during Lisa’s rap part, Lisa wore box braids, which many considered cultural appropriation. In the song Ice Cream, Lisa sang the line ‘…Play the part like Moses, Keep it fresh like roses…’ This is offensive as Moses was an influential and important figure in Jewish beliefs, and the song is said to be dirty, which is very insulting and is something which is not mentioned a lot, which is something I wish would be mentioned/ brought to light. Another instance would be the song Lalisa, if I’m not mistaken, she wore a traditional Cambodian headdress, which created a bit of a controversy. In ‘Kingdom’, Lisa wore a durag, which was also cultural appropriation. I will stop here as I feel like I am picking flaws), and lacks basic talents for being an idol (Eg.- Her singing is less than mediocre, I do think she over-dances a bit, but that could be just me, objectively speaking, her stage presence is good. Not out-of-this-world amazing, but good. Idols with better stage presence are, to be honest, Park Ji-Hyo, Kwon Bo-Ah (BoA), and Shin Ryu-Jin. Her vocal range goes from C#3 - D5 - C#6. Please keep in mind I am not trying to put Lisa down or put up other idols. (Idols with greater vocal ranges include Kim Hyo-Jung (professionally known as HyoLyn [A4 - F#4], Kim Son-Yung (professionally known as Solar) [E3 - G#6] and Son Seung-Wan (professionally known as Wendy) [A5 - Bb5 - G#6 - A6]. In this list, Hyo-Jung is the best vocalist (by technique), followed by Seung-Wan and then Son-Young. I may be confusing Son-Young and Seung-Wan’s vocal rankings, so please do not come at me for it.) (Idols who have better dance techniques are (if I’m not mistaken) Hirai Mo-Mo, Kang Seul-Gi, and Myoui Mina.) Again, this note is not to put Lisa down, but rather, simply to support my reasons for not biasing her the most, which thus places her at the bottom. BlackPink was already globally popular by this time. In this Music Video, during Lisa’s (Lalisa Monoban is a Thai member of the group, and she is the lead rapper and main dancer) rap part, we see the statue of Lord Ganesh, a significant Hindu god is placed on the floor. This is very disrespectful, and had sparked a lot of controversy. There were other controversies too, such as Jennie’s bindi. The bindi is traditionally used by Hindus, Jains, Sikhs and Buddhists. They are traditionally coloured, and have great religious symbolism. Bindis are usually placed between the eyebrows, which is also where the sixth chakra, ajna, lies. This chakra represents concealed wisdom, and on this point, many Hindu deities have an eye. This is one reason that this is cultural appropriation. Ajna also represents the third eye, which is spiritually and religiously significant. For further details, here are some articles to read. She (Jennie) also wore a maang tikka, if I’m not mistaken. I think that was another song, though.
