Many K-Drama fans have been curious about the filming locations where the drama takes place. Most of the locations are still unknown and it was also revealed that the majority of the drama was filmed at the CJ E&M Studios with CGI. However, we managed to find out about the filming location of the retro bar that Lee JinWook’s character DanHwal and Jung JinYoung’s character Kwon HoYeol/Dan Geok visited in episode 8. We’ve previously written about the filming location of Lee Joon’s character Ok EulTae’s house, too. Let’s find out about the filming location of the bar that DanHwal visited! The retro bar from “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” is a vintage-styled bar called KingNoGaRi (킹노가리 in Korean). It is located in Paju City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
The bar has a unique interior and exterior. The inside is decorated in old newspapers that are mostly related to the Olympics and date from as early as 1974. The owner decorated the bar themselves giving it a sentimental touch. Another cool point about the bar is how the windows are covered in autumn leaves and old LP covers. There are also guitars on display. Even the exterior is extremely detailed as the walls are covered in bottle tops.
