The news about their comeback was revealed at their PTD Concert in Las Vegas, and fans had been eagerly waiting since then. The album contains a total of 48 tracks, with 3 new tracks, namely ‘Yet To Come’, ‘Run BTS’ and ‘For Youth’. Here are four reasons why we are in love with this new release.
1. BTS Creates Sense Of Nostalgia With ‘Yet To Come’
BTS released the music video for their title track ‘Yet To Come’ on 10th June, 1 pm KST. The music video gained 53 million views within 24 hours. The music video comprised scenes that referred to their older music videos and hence, presented as the journey that they have been through. Fans noticed many similar scenes and even took it to their Twitter to express how nostalgic the music video made them. The video had references made to ‘Spring Day’, ‘Blood Sweat And Tears’, ‘Euphoria’, ‘I Need You’ and even their debut song ‘No Dreams’. BTS used the song and the music video as a way to convey their feelings about their success. On how the titles made them feel like they have a heavy responsibility and that they are more than titles and awards, they are boys who love music and will continue to do so.
2. BTS Album “Proof” Presents The Proof Of Their Journey
BTS celebrate their upcoming 9th anniversary with their album “Proof”. “The album presents a pathway through the memory lane as it contains one of the best tracks by BTS. The album has three CDs. The first CD contains 19 tracks. These are the title tracks of all BTS albums in a chronological order, including their latest title track, ‘Yet To Come’. CD2 contains 15 tracks which are either solo or sub unit songs selected by the members. The songs that represent the member’s thoughts and emotions. CD2 starts with the brand new track ‘Run BTS’. Whilst CD3 is dedicated to the ARMY and it includes demos of songs that the members had worked on but they were not released. These include ‘Seesaw’ by Suga, ‘Epiphany’ by Jin, ‘Still With You’ by JungKook, the group’s demo of ‘Boy With Luv’ and many more.
3. BTS Return To Music Bank After Almost 3 Years
On June 10th, the BTS members visited the music bank for pre-recording. They are scheduled to perform on “Mnet Mcountdown” 16th June, “SBS Music Bank” on 17th June and “SBS Inkigayo” on 19th June. BTS last attended the music bank shows in 2020, when they released their album “Map Of The Soul: 7” and after 3 years they have returned. Even BTS’s RM took it to his Twitter, saying how it felt to be back after 3 years. He expressed that he felt nervous but it was still fun.

4. BTS Set New Records With Their Comeback
BTS yet again set a series of records with their comeback. Their album “Proof” became the second album in the history of Hanteo to surpass 2 million sales in one day and joins their own album “Map Of The Soul:7”, which was released in 2020. The album also achieved the No.1 rank on the iTunes Charts in 65 countries. The album also had the biggest streaming day of all time on Spotify with over 70 million streams after its release. The title track ‘Yet To Come’ also ranked number 1 on iTunes charts in 97 countries. Furthermore, it even became the first track to be ranked number 1 on the Melon Top 100 Charts right after its release. The song earned the title of ‘biggest single debut for a Korean song’ in the history of Spotify. BTS’s comeback was highly anticipated and the group proved that the wait was worth it.
